The French, Citroen C5 Aircross - Loaded with Comfort and features.

Finally Citroen had launched its first model in India, the C5 Aircross. The design looks very much french itself and there also many of the design elements which has been taken care of such as the side of the car, long as a semi SUV but also more than the Volkswagen Tiguan which is basically its rival.

The car comes with a 2.0 L 4-cylinder diesel engine with an average 18km/L, in India it is only available in diesel however globally, the petrol model is also available. Transmission is 8-speed automatic.

The back looks really impressive with the dual tone colour on offer. The tail light comes with 4 LEDs and looks quite good and decent, it has dual exhaust hidden under the back, the exhaust shown at back are fake though which is a unfavourable thing under this price range.

There is quite large amount of boot storage on offer with an small light and a usb charging port. And the spare wheel is actually a full sized alloy wheel which is a great +1 from Citroen.

The interiors are also very impressive and unique, the soft cushioning seats are just spot on, the back seats are as comfortable as the front ones. The center armrest at the back is not there as three people can comfortably fit there. The under thigh support is good, so is the leg space on offer, the head room is also quiet decent even for a tall person.

Is has ofcourse electric power windows, electric seat adjustment only for the driver's seat though, also the electric adjustable side mirror. In between it has a massive center console for storage purpose.At the top it has so many lights and mirrors also with a newspaper holder also with a  seat belt indicator which tells you exactly which seat belt is not fastened, quite impressive right ?

Coming to the sunroof, it comes with a panoramic sunroof which quite massive in size and open its 3/4th area. The seat belt comes with a height adjustable function. 

This front wheel drive car also has five terrain modes and other Eco and Sports modes separately, has Shift paddles and the basic other features which all other cars have like the Cruse control, Traction control system, wipers with a lot of water spray on offer.

For the controls you have Digital tachometer and a large 8 inch screen which have the accessibility to the Carplays, Parking Assists, Front and Rear Parking sensors, Tyre pressure monitoring and many more. 

The overall interior treatment is good, the use of hard plastics could have been less as the car comes in a very up from basic price range, however there are also some parts where the soft touch is used.

Overall this car is a complete package of features and its looks are also something you will never get tired of which is something unique regardless from its rivals, the Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, MG Hector and more.

The car is available only in two variants for now in India :

2.0 L diesel engine and a 1.5 L diesel engine.
