NEW PORSCHE CAYENNE COUPE, JOINS THE SUV COUPE CLUB.

 

The recently launched Porsche Cayenne Coupe is in a certain center of attraction because of its magnificent features, power and most importantly, of its own being a SUV Coupe. These newly introduced SUV Coupes, have been in a spotlight right after BMW X6 and Mercedes GLCs came into the scene, and many buyers seem to be in love with these cars because of the comfort, power and the road presence these cars offer.

Porsche only had two SUVs in their productions, earlier, the one, very famously known, The Cayenne and its small sibling, the Macan which relatively comes at a lower cost. The Cayenne Coupe has developed the scene. This car gets very simplified two variants, one is the Base Model and the other one happens to be the Turbo Model. These two are almost the same regarding their features and designs but the engine differs from one another and the turbo model generates some power than the base one.

You get two engines options available on this car the Base Model have the 3.0 L Turbocharged V6 engines, generating max power of 5600 rpm and max torque of 1320 rpm, sounds crazy ! But the Turbo Model is just here to surprise you with its 4.0 L Turbocharged V8 engine, which generates max power of 5750 rpm and max torque of 2000 rpm, which actually does not let raise any questions about the power capability of the car. The transmission is 8-speed Automatic (torque converter) with dual clutch system with paddle shift, manual override, and sports mode. Having Dual Clutch and torque converter allows the car to have smooth gear shifts and a good refinement of shifts even during high torque acceleration and down shifts, this somehow also helps to make the fuel more efficient. 

The design element of the car is also very good, of course you get good quality materials used in this car with respect to the price range and the outer body is of lightweight steel and aluminium which makes the car even more lighter in weight. The body design makes a very good appeal and so do the alloy wheels, they look so fine and beautiful in terms of their design and size.

 The wheel size happens to be 285/40 21s and 275/45 20s at the front for Turbo and Base variant respectively, at the rear 315/35 21s and 305/40 20s respectively. Both the variants are all time 4-wheel drive and a big ground clearance allows the car to go anywhere and the road presence also you have in this car is very satisfying as such. Headlamps and Taillights both are LED units which also looks very decent and sporty. There is slight of a dual tone finish on this car, however the bumpers are same as the body color. The only chrome treatment on this car is on the dual exhaust at the back. The car is a coupe having four doors and a good amount on space on offer for 4 persons.

The interior of the car is very impressive and it looks like the whole design is inspired from the Panamera, the dashboard, gear lever and the steering wheel looks very much similar. The car has a very impressive safety features inside, where it offers a total of 10 Airbags, of course for both, driver and passengers. The disappointment for the Cayenne, for not having sunroof has now being fulfilled by the Cayenne Coupe with a average big sunroof/moon roof. 

The car has very basic and good features in terms of the parking assist, where it gets itself a parking camera with both front and rear parking sensors. In terms of the drive controls, the car gets Traction control, Hill hold and decent control, automatic braking assists and Ride height adjustment. The dashboard comprises of huge 12.3 inches infotainment screen and the digital instrument cluster of 7 inches. One of the most interesting features to add on to this car's interior is the heads up display on the windscreen which look very attractive indeed. For entertainment you can access to the big infotainment system which allows to Android auto, Apple car play and even Voice command on the car works perfectly fine.

The car price varies from a starting amount of Rs.1.32 crores (Ex-showroom Kolkata) for the Base Variant which goes upto Rs,1.98 crores (Ex-showroom Kolkata).
