HYUNDAI VERNA 2020 FACELIFT, TURBO DCT.

The Hyundai Verna, surely, always has been one of the finest sedan in the C-segment, and with the 2020 Verna face lift, Hyundai surely had done some good job and, some still to be done. Hyundai Verna's well known rival, the Honda City did came up very fine in terms of the main aspects with its 2021 face lift. However both the cars are known for their own characteristics but still there are are some facts which we can't ignore while investing such amount of money on this car, about which i would mention a bit later.

The variant which we are about to discuss, is the Petrol Turbocharged, 1.0 L, 3- cylinder engine is 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission (DCT). The engine generates a very good and smooth acceleration with not much power on offer but with good stability and refinement. Because of, lack of enthusiasm in the power with the acceleration, any wheel spin is barely going to happen, because the car is super refine and stable itself.

The car looks nice and impressive indeed, in terms of its design element. The body line and shape of the car is very delight as a sedan, and the alloys also looks very nice. The tyres size happens to be the 195/65 15s. The car works so perfectly with its traction system and positioning, that the Traction Control is of near to no use. However, the other variants, like the Petrol Manual- Transmission, does have slight more enthusiasm while accelerating and with that, you may find the Traction Control somehow useful.Judging from its overall design, the 2020 Verna somehow seems like to be inspired from the BMW. Also the all black treatment all over the interior of the car, justifies to give it a perfect sporty look.

The car gets some really good features on offer, Power windows, Automatic climate control, Airbags for both passengers and driver, Multi-function steering wheel and etc. The panoramic sunroof is quite big enough and the 8-inch multi-function touchscreen gives access to various features like apple car play and other multi media functions. The seats are very comfortable indeed, interesting part is, you get ventilated seats at the front, which is again a very impressive thing added by Hyundai. At the back, you get a center arm rest and a center console at the front also, you get good amount of headroom, leg space, knee space, not much great under thigh support at the back but it is negligible. Overall, the comfort section in this car is great on offer up to 4 people.

The things Hyundai definitely shouldn't over look at this price range, is the premium element inside the car by using good material, instead of using hard plastics all over the dashboard and the other parts of the interior. However, the paddle shifters you have in this car are good metal units.

The car on the exterior is undoubtedly very decent, the chrome finish all over the B-pillars and the chrome door handles looks very great indeed. The turbo variant gets disc brakes on the rear wheels also, which is again a nice touch. The car gets both front and rear parking sensors, reverse parking camera, and parking guidelines also.

The Hyundai Verna Turbo DCT does an good job overall. People who loves to drive the car with full authority with the roads and  seek for smooth and refining drives, the Hyundai Verna might just be the very compatible car of them, and if we talk about more driving feel and feedback and bit less of a power, you should just check out of the Honda City 2021 for once.

Overall the car went very impressive with its face lift !. The Hyundai Verna costs around like 16.45 Lakh* (On-road Kolkata) and I think this car is a very definite and worthy choice at this price.
